Logging automatically manages the disk space used for storing log files and allows you to specify how long each log file is retained before it is automatically deleted. Sometimes you might want to retain log files for instant historical reference or problem resolution.
For each log, you can specify the following properties concerned with log file retention:
The actual number of log files for the log, including the log file for the current day.
The maximum number of days to save log files for the log.
