You can delete individual log sources from a log, except for the SPO log source. The SPO log source provides messages that record the state of the connection between the monitored system and the Operations Sentinel server, and you cannot delete this source except by deleting the entire log.
You might want to delete a log source if the source becomes obsolete or no longer produces messages and event reports. Deleting a log source does not prevent future automatic reinstatement of the source when it generates new messages. To stop the logging of messages from a log source, disable logging for the log source instead of deleting it.
For the steps to delete a log source, see Deleting Items.
Note: The log sources you delete are not actually deleted until you save your changes. If you have not performed a save, you can discard your changes to recover the deleted log sources.
