Filtering helps you to organize your managed objects by including only those objects that pass one or more specified filter conditions. The Object Filter property is the set of filter conditions that each managed object is compared against. It might help you understand filter conditions if you think of them as rules. Each "rule" you create determines which managed objects can be included in a managed group.
