The following table lists identifiers for threshold alerts for MCP systems. One of these alerts is raised when the corresponding system parameter violates the threshold expression that the Operations Sentinel administrator has specified for it.

| _ACacheRequest | Cache Request Rate | Number of requests per second to disk cache. |
| _AFalseIdlePcent | Process False Idle | Percentage of processor time spent idle while overlaid data is being transferred by the I/O subsystem. |
| _AIOFinishPcent | Process IO Finish | Percentage of processor time spent handling I/O completions. |
| _AInitPbitPcent | Process Initial Pbits | Percentage of processor time spent making arrays and code initially available. |
| _AInterruptIORate | IO Interrupt Rate | Average number of I/O interrupts per second. |
| _AMCPPcent | Process MCP | Percentage of processor time charged to the combination of the MCPSTACK, PROCESSSWITCH and LISTEN accounts. |

| _AMemoryTotal | Memory Total | Total of Memory Available, Memory Overlay, and Memory Save. |
| _AOtherPbitPcent | Process Other Pbits | Percentage of processor time spent making arrays and code present again after they were overlaid, plus the time spent overlaying existing data to make room for new data. |
| _ASearchPcent | Process Search | Percentage of processor time charged to the combination of the SEARCHLEAD and SEARCHFOLLOW accounts. |
