The following table lists identifiers of alerts for hold conditions on OS 2200 systems. One of these alerts is raised when the condition occurs and the corresponding threshold has been set for the system.

_OSAHold | A Hold | A backlog hold (A hold) is in effect. All batch runs are held. This results from a CS H keyin or scheduling being suspended because the mass storage limit has been reached. |
_OSDHold | D Hold | A demand run hold (D hold) is in effect. Demand runs are being held due to a CS HD keyin. |
_OSExpoolHold | E Hold | An EXPOOL hold (E hold) is in effect. Insufficient EXPOOL space is available to open additional runs. This occurs when EXPOOL space availability has reached the critical threshold. |
_OSIHold | I Hold | A suspended-run hold (I hold) is in effect. At least one run is suspended on the system. |
_OSLHold | L Hold | A demand terminal hold (L hold) is in effect. Demand terminals are being held due to a CS HT keyin. |
_OSMSHold | M Hold | A mass storage hold (M hold) is in effect. Mass storage facilities or cataloged files are not available on the system. |
_OSMessageHold | O Hold | A read-and-reply message is outstanding. Indicates at least one outstanding read-and-reply message for an onsite or remote console. |
_OSRHold | R Hold | An operator hold (O hold) by means of CS H run-id keyin. |
_OSTapeHold | T Hold | A tape hold (T hold) is in effect. Tape or other peripheral facilities are not available. These facilities include tape units, removable disk units, reel-ids, ACS queries, and facilities other than mass storage space and cataloged mass storage files. |
