If you use a pre-8.0 version of Operations Sentinel and an 8.x or later version of Operations Sentinel on the same day, two log files can be generated. The 8.x or higher version has an .slg file extension, the pre-8.0 version does not. As a result, the number of log files Operations Sentinel Console reports will not match the number of log files Log Viewer reports. Only the log for Operations Sentinel 8.x or later is visible in the list of log files displayed by Log Viewer.
