Once initiated, the LINC/MON program presents a screen for your parameter entry. As for screens, the LINC/MON Page 1 screen has an Action property for direct entry of commands. The parameters defining the application and activity you wish to monitor are entered on this screen. Refer to LINC/MON Parameters for more information.
The Page 1 screen is used for parameter entry, the return of monitoring results, and log heading information when in viewing mode.
Page 2 is used for displaying log message text when in viewing mode, and for displaying any online help you request. The status line at the bottom of your screen is used by LINC/MON to display any error, warning and status messages.
Note: In monitoring mode, you might refresh the screen display if necessary by entering REFRESH (or REF or R) in the Action property.Similarly, in viewing mode, enter SAME (or S) to redisplay the log record last sent to your terminal.
