Defining Output Control Codes

To create your own Output Control codes, check that the terminal printer model has been declared, then perform the following:

  1. Sign on to CANDE and enter:

    GET *NGEN28SYS/CODES ON alternate pack AS WF

  2. Enter new Control codes. Refer to Format of the CODES File under About the CODES File for more information.

  3. After saving *NGEN28SYS/CODES on <Alternate pack> , transfer the file to the Developer build client and save the file to the directory C:\Program Files(x86)\Unisys\AB Suite 7.0\Data\public .

    If the directory nodes \Data\public do not already exist under C:\Program Files(x86)\Unisys\AB Suite 7.0, create them yourself before placing the CODES file there.

Note: The Output Control codes must be loaded into your Model before they can be implemented in your Report output. Refer to the Agile Business Suite Developer User Guide for more information.
