Overview of Runtime Components
The Data Exchange Runtime environment includes the following components:

Data Exchange MCP Service (MCP Agent and DMSII Adapter)
Data Exchange OS 2200 Agent
After you have defined and deployed a transformation in the DDW, the transformation is deployed to the Administration Site. The Administration Site is used to control and monitor the Runtime activities. When a bulk data transformation or a changed data transformation is initiated, the transformation is sent to the Runtime Service and a request is sent to the Agent to retrieve source data. The Runtime Service applies this transformation to the source data and loads it into the target database.
