The power strips provided with the hardware use a detachable inlet cord set that mates to an IEC 320 - C20 receptacle on the power strip. Unisys provides three types of power cords; select the appropriate power cord based on your location and provide the applicable mating receptacle. In addition to power cords available from Unisys, you can choose to use cord sets that meet local standards and codes with localized plugs that are not supplied by Unisys.
Each power cord must be protected by circuit breakers with the applicable rating.
Power cords are a maximum of 3 m (10 ft) in length. Receptacles should be located within 2 m (6.6 ft) of the cabinet to allow adequate length for routing power cords within the cabinet while avoiding undue stress on the cords.
The AC entrance requirements, available power cords, and mating receptacle requirements are listed in AC Entrance Requirements and Available Power Cords and Mating Receptacle Requirements.

For a large fabric environment that includes four or more 4-socket enterprise partition platforms in the same cabinet, higher capacity power strips (a restricted option) may be required. The AC entrance requirements, available power cords, and mating receptacle requirements for higher capacity power strips are listed in AC Entrance Requirements of Higher Capacity Power Strips and Available Power Cords and Mating Receptacle Requirements of Higher Capacity Power Strips.
