To use a macro generator
Click Macro Generators on the Tools menu.
A list of the available macro generators on the Operations Server appears.
Note: If the macro generator you desire does not appear in the list of available macro generators, you must import the macro generator into the installation-data-folder\os2200-macros folder on the Operations Server that hosts the console using the OS 2200 Macro Maintenance dialog window in OS 2200 Console Manager. OS 2200 Macro Maintenance automatically places the macro generator in the correct folder on the Operations Server that hosts the console. If a partition definition exists, you must also add the macro generator to the list of available macro generators. See the OS 2200 Console Manager Help for more information.
Click the desired macro generator from the menu.
The macro is automatically created and displayed in the Macro Editor. See Executing a Macro to run the macro.
Note: If you want to use the macro you created at a later time, you must save it. If Macro Editor Behavior is set to Dialog, you are not prompted to save the macro before exiting the Macro Editor (the Macro Editor automatically closes). You must be a member of the SPO Administrators group to save a macro.
