About the OS 2200 Console View Window

Once a view is open, the OS 2200 Console View window displays the messages sent from the OS 2200 partition to the logical console. The OS 2200 Console View window is split into four separate viewing areas called panes. The four panes are

System state
Read and reply
Hold
Traffic

The OS 2200 Console View window also includes the following components:

Title bar
Menu bar
Toolbar
Command line
Status bar

Notes:

OS 2200 Console View is similar to other Windows applications. You can move, resize, minimize, maximize, restore, and close its window.
Closing the OS 2200 Console View window does not down the OS 2200 logical console.
