To get started with Operations Sentinel, the administrator completes the basic tasks and any advanced tasks as appropriate.
Basic Tasks
(Optional) Add additional roles or use the SPO Administrators and SPO Users roles supplied with Operations Sentinel.

(Optional) Create any new classes or use the base classes and derived classes supplied with Operations Sentinel.

Define the managed objects. Depending on the server or component, see one of the following topics for more information: server, arbitrary system, component, MCP system, OS 2200 system, OS 2200 console, UNIX/Linux system, Windows system, Consolidated Specialty Engine, ePortal system, OS 2200 JProcessor and QProcessor, or a managed object based on a derived class.
(Optional) Define any managed groups or subgroups, or use the All Objects managed group supplied with Operations Sentinel. The All Objects managed group includes all managed objects.

(Optional) Create zones or use the All zone supplied with Operations Sentinel. The All zone includes the All Objects managed group.
(Optional) Create a view or, if you are using the All zone, use the view supplied with that zone.
