The TCP/IP port numbers used by Unisys software on a ClearPath system are divided into three groups

Well Known Ports (0 through 1023)
-
Registered Ports (1024 through 49151)
-
Dynamic and/or Private Ports (49152 through 65535)
The Well Known Ports and the Registered Ports are described further in TCP/IP Well Known Ports and TCP/IP Registered Ports. Note that TCP/IP Well Known Ports does not list all of the TCP/IP Well Known Ports. Instead, it lists some of the Well Known Ports which are most commonly used by Unisys ClearPath applications.
