Obtaining an Autoconfigured IP Address Using the MAC Address

You can specify that autoconfigured IP addresses are obtained using the interface MAC address to build the local interface identifier. To enable this option, enter the following:

NW TCPIP OPT ACInterfaceIdentifierSource = ACIIS_MAC

The default is ACIIS_MAC.
