IP Security (IPsec) is considered an encryption product and is restricted under U.S. federal export regulations. Because IPsec was previously only supported on IPv6 networks, the IPv6 product key is also required, even if the configuration only uses IPv4. To use MCP IP Security, you must order the IOE Encryption Option. The appropriate keys to enable IPsec are included as part of the Encryption Option package. MCP IPv4 networking remains available and orderable as in the past.
