Any of the statements END, QUIT, or BYE terminates a MAKEUSER run. In update or CREATE mode, the system produces a summary of the USERDATAFILE. To suppress the output of this summary to an interactive terminal, specify a period (.) after the statement in the same input record. In this case the system reads no more records.
