Internationalization Issues

Like Client Access Services, PCDRIVER assumes by default that the PCs used in conjunction with a given MCP system are running a version of Windows corresponding to the SYSOPS CCSVERSION on that MCP system. For example, the default translations performed on a MCP system having SYSOPS CCSVERSION FRANCE would be performed under the assumption that the PC was running the French version of Windows.

SYSTEM/NXSERVICES/PCDRIVER also includes the ability to explicitly specify CCSVERSION, overriding this default.

Users in Japan who require translation of Japanese characters must use the CCSVERSION options, as there is no SYSOPS CCSVERSION for Japan.

Both file names and file data will be translated.
