The current LOGANALYZER is able to analyze logs generated under the same system software release level or any preceding system software release level. For example, the ClearPath MCP 17.0 LOGANALYZER can analyze the logs generated while running ClearPath MCP 15.0.

It is also possible to run LOGANALYZER on a system running a different release level. LOGANALYZER will link to any version of JOBFORMATTER or SDASUPPORT that is currently installed as a support library on the system. In its output, LOGANALYZER reports the versions of JOBFORMATTER and SDASUPPORT that it is linked to.
