The TAPEHEADERS modifier enables FILEDATA to report on file attributes for disk files on library maintenance tapes or library-maintenance style CD-ROMs. If you specify TAPE for an ATTRIBUTES, CODEFILEINFO, COMPATIBILITY, HEADERCONTENTS, or INCOMPATIBILITY request, then by default FILEDATA also sets the TAPEHEADERS modifier. You must specify TAPEHEADERS for COPYDECK, FILENAMES, and NOREPORTS requests if these requests are to access the full library maintenance tape and create a database with all file attributes.
