For the ARCHIVEINFO request or in conjunction with the ARCHIVE FILEDATA modifier, the REMOVED modifier causes FILEDATA to include in the report information for files that have archive backup information and have been removed from disk by one of the following methods:

A REMOVE statement

Autoremove

A programmatic remove action such as CLOSE with PURGE
If you do not select this option, the report includes only information about resident files and, for ARCHIVEINFO requests or requests with the ARCHIVE FILEDATA modifier, files that have been removed from disk with the Work Flow Language (WFL) RELEASE statement.
